Report Presented by the New Woman Foundation and ANND:
This report is submitted by the New Woman Foundation and ANND, focusing on women’s rights issues in Egypt in response to previous cycle recommendations. Despite the approval of many recommendations, tangible progress has been limited despite extensive efforts.
On 28 January 2025, the UN Human Rights Council’s Working Group on the UPR will address States’ human rights recommendations to Egypt as part of the fourth cycle of the country’s UPR.
