To strengthen our partnerships, New Woman Foundation organized a workshop with the National Council for Women on “Case Management Systems and Service Provision for Survivors of Violence.”<\/p>\n
Rania Al-Sawabi, a lawyer at the National Council for Women’s Complaints Office and a case manager at the Legal Support Office, led the sessions.<\/p>\n
She began her first session by engaging with the attendees from the governmental sector in the Assiut Directorate of Social Solidarity. She then introduced the National Council for Women, its role, the activities conducted under its auspices, and its partnerships with relevant entities providing services for women, particularly regarding its referral system.<\/p>\n
She presented the council\u2019s experience in case management systems, the structure of its specialized departments, the types of interventions in cases, and the nature of support provided through the council’s complaints offices, which was in line with their mandate.<\/p>\n
The session also highlighted the methodology adopted by the council in delivering support services.
\nAdditionally, she detailed the National Council for Women’s key roles and responsibilities, including its authority to file reports with official entities.<\/p>\n
After the sessions, several recommendations were made regarding collaboration with the National Council, the Directorate of Social Solidarity, and civil society organizations.<\/p>\n
This activity falls under the umbrella of the Legislative Protection Project, implemented in cooperation with Diakonia.<\/p>\n\n\t\t\t
