Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree – postgraduate studies is a plus
  2. Fluency – French is a plus
  3. 5 years of managerial experience – longer periods are a plus
  4. 3 years of work experience in NGOs
  5. Experience in feminist or human rights work (activist/researcher/management)
  6. Experience in Monitoring and Evaluation – training delivery is a plus

Responsibilities

  1. Build partnerships with donors, and enhance relations with former donors
  2. Develop Strategic and managerial plans for the organization in cooperation with the board of trustees
  3. Mobilize financial resources and other resources needed to achieve NWF’s strategic goals
  4. Write projects, proposals, and reports submitted to donors
  5. Link donors to the board of trustees and the staff
  6. Manage submission of high-quality and timely reports, and ensure timely submission of narrative and financial reports
  7. Prepare workflow/work progress reports
  8. Represent NWF in conferences, meetings, and other occasions
  9. Manage program directors, and NWF’s programs
  10. Create a positive work environment and promote spirit of cooperation among the staff
  11. Oversee strategic plans and budgets and approve them for all programs before final approval by the board of trustees
  12. Attend various events and activities, when needed, to provide support to the programs
  13. Manage monitoring and evaluation of all programs
  14. Supervise management and financial staff
  15. Oversee NWF’s records and ensure accuracy on daily basis
  16. Provide support and guidance to the staff in recruitment processes and share in the final hiring approval
  17. Manage issues of Ministry of Social Solidarity and follow correspondences between authorities and NWF
  18. Attend board meetings and ensure proper communication between the board and NWF’s Staff
  19. Follow up the needs of the staff, and manage incentive and promotion systems, and any activities required to build the staff’s capacity and ensure its well-being
