من المؤسسات لمركز الجندر للبحوث والدراسات.  نال مركز الجندر جائزة عالمية فى الديمقراطية وحقوق المرأة عن نشاطاتها فى هذا المجال ،وعضو فى الاتحاد النسائى السودانى، عضو فى عدد من الشبكات الوطنية والاقليمية والعالمية، قدمت مبادرة الكوتا لتعزيز مشاركة المرأة السياسية فى السودان

Rim Aljabi has been working on Gender and Development issues since 1994, with a particular focus on Gender and Economic Empowerment, since 2006. Over the past 15 years, she has been a trainer, consultant, researcher, director and manager with different international and regional organizations including: UNFPA, FAO, IOM, UNDP, ILO, UNIFEM, UNICEF, IFAD, CAWTAR, GTZ, CRTDA, IDLO, ESCWA and UN Women. Her experience took her from Syria (her motherland) to Lebanon, Jordan, Tunisia, Egypt and Afghanistan. She is currently the Senior Technical Officer for the Women Employability Project at ILO, Cairo. Aljabi holds a Master Degree in “Gender Analysis and Development” from the University of East Anglia, UK.

She published papers on women economic empowerment including: Promoting women empowerment for Inclusive and Sustainable industrial Development in the MENA region; women’s Labour related legislations and laws in the MENA Region; Inventory on Women Enterprise Development in MENA; Women Public Participation and Gender Based Violence in Syria; Mainstreaming Gender in the Water and Wastewater Services; Assessing the Services provided by Governmental Institutions to women in four areas – Health, education, law, and economic empowerment; Gender Dimension in Poverty Measures and Analysis in Jordan; Gender, Globalization and Employment in Syria (awarded second prize by CAWTAR).

د. هانيا شلقامي ”               النهج النسوية للحماية الاجتماعية من مصر.

Hania Sholkamy is an Egyptian anthropologist with a PhD from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences, The University of London. She obtained her BA and MA from the American University in Cairo (AUC). She is currently associate research professor at the Social Research Center of the AUC and is also affiliated with the Forced Migration and Refugee Studies Program of the university. Prior to her current position she has been employed as assistant professor of anthropology in the department of anthropology of the AUC, has been a research associate at the International Population Council and was the Ioma Evans Pritchard Junior Research Fellow at St. Anne’s College, Oxford University. Her research interests and publications are mainly in the fields of health, particularly reproductive health, gender, population and qualitative methods. She has co-edited two volumes, one titled Categories and Contexts: Anthropological and Historical Studies in Critical Demography (OUP) with S. Szreter and A. Dharmalingam  and another titled Health and Identity in Egypt (AUC press) with F. Ghanam.

She has been a member of various professional associations including The Reproductive Health Working Group (current), the Committee on Anthropology and Demography of the International Union for the Scientific Study of Population (1998-2002) and the Advisory Committee of the Middle East Awards program of the International Population Council (2002/3). She is also a member of the executive committee of the Institute for Gender and Women’s Studies of the AUC, A fellow of the Economic Research Forum, and a member of the International Faculty of the Arab Gulf University in Bahrain. She is currently regional coordinator of the “Pathways to Women’s Empowerment Research Consortium” in partnership with the Institute of Development Studies at Sussex, UK.

 ،تعمل صحفية ولها العديد من المقالات و الأعمال الصحفية المنشورة خاصة بالقضايا الاجتماعية و السياسية و حقوق النساء، ولها العديد من التقارير والدراسات والمشاركة في ابحاث حول الحقوق الاقتصادية والاجتماعية و الحق في التنظيم،  شاركت في العديد من المؤتمرات الإقليمية والدولية في مجال حقوق الأنسان

مستشارة دولية مستقلة منذ 2003، وماجستير في النوع الاجتماعي الثقافة و المجتمع من كلية عين الشق الدار البيضاء، في إطار التحضير للحصول على الدكتوراه، خبيرة في الميزانية المستجيبة للنوع الاجتماعي، واكبت خلق مجموعة من التعاونيات، عملت في مجال تدريب مجموعة من البرلمانيات من أجل وضع منديات النساء البرلمانيات، اشتغلت مع منظمة الغذاء العالمية حول إدراج العمل الاقتصادي للنساء في العالم القروي في سوق الشغل عن طريق خلق تعاونيات، ودربت الآلاف من النساء في كل من جزيرة موريس، موريتانيا، مصر، تونس، الأردن من أجل الولوج إلى مراكز القرار، و لتكونن قياديات في المجتمع، لها مجموعة من الأدلة و المصوغات التكوينية و الدراسات حول المساواة و النوع و تمكين النساء، من بين أعمالها البحثية إنجاز ادوات التكوين من بينها، وضع أول دليل تفسيري حول الميثاق الجماعي، أول دليل تدريبى في المغرب حول الميزانية المستجيبة للنوع الاجتماعي على المستوى المحلي (الجمعية الديمقراطية لنساء المغرب دراسة حول: ” الميزانية المستجيبة للنوع الاجتماعي رافعة للتنمية الترابية” (جمعية.ASTICUD ) وساهمت في حلق شبكات نسائية (مستشارات جماعيات، برلمانيات، جمعيات، تعاونيات) في إطار جمعوي لتغيير العديد من القوانين (الدستور، الميثاق الجماعي، القانون التنظيمي المتعلق بالأحزاب السياسية، مدونة الأسرة القانون التنظيمي المتعلق بمجلس المستشارين، القانون المتعلق بالتعيين في الوظائف السامية ومتمرسة في مقاربة النوع، …..الترافع و والضغط، تصميم المشاريع (الإطار المنطقي)، التسيير المبني على النتائج، أدوات تتبع و تقييم المشاريع.

& .Her work is grounded in a race, class and feminist analysis and she  is committed to grounding academic research in  community struggles & contexts. Board member of several academic and development organizations including past president of Business Woman’s Association South Africa , the  International Network on Migration and Development and the Association of African Trade Practitioners.

& Contributed to five books on international trade, gender and politics and social transformation and written numerous  conference and academic papers in addition to  popular opinion pieces and columns regional integration, international relations, migration, public & development policy, economic citizenship , forms of nation and statehood including the role of the Black middle class  , racism and emerging global powers.

Ghada Barsoum is assistant professor at the Department of Public Policy and Administration at the School of Global Affairs and Public Policy at the American University in Cairo (AUC). Her research focuses on issues of youth, gender, employment and poverty. She was recently the principal investigator of a study on informality in Egypt in collaboration with the UNDP regional office. Prior to joining AUC, She was research associate at the Population Council, West Asia and North Africa Office. Barsoum is the author of a book on the employment crisis of female graduates in Egypt and a number of papers in peer-reviewed journals
