During our participation in the sessions of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW)69 in New York, we had the opportunity to meet Katarina, Senior Program Advisor at KVINFO.
Our discussion focused on the significance of sustained follow-up on the Beijing Platform for Action and its implications for civil society organizations. Katarina also shared her insights on the growing challenges related to development funding in the context of the rise of far-right movements in Europe, and how these shifts are impacting international cooperation and support.
We further explored her perspectives on potential strategies to address this crisis, with a particular emphasis on the Egyptian context and the broader Middle East region.
